CRYONOMIC^® was in 1992 the first in Europe building dry ice blasting machines. The export of the dry ice blasters started with model VSU100E. The VSU (Very simple unit - referring to other complicated large systems build on a truck) was a mobile blasting unit and consisted of a hopper in which the CO₂ pellets are stored before use, a pellet distributor that puts the pellets in an airstream that transports the pellets, and a gun. It was built in an industrial stainless steel housing.

We still have a lot of customers using this dry ice blaster for more than 25 years now! 

The VSU range features 3 versions of this revolutionary concept in cleaning-technology, varying from the simple "START/STOP" operation on the VSU-110E to the PLC-controlled VSU-380E, which allows adjustment of all operating parameters.

Remote control

The remote controlled gun is very interesting for different applications. If too much CO₂ is asked and sight is reduced, you simple reduce the kg/h on your blast gun! You can change two important parameters with the buttons on your gun and on the control panel, namely dry ice consumption and blasting pressure. 

Gun light

In 2003 CRYONOMIC^® integrated, as the first one in the world, the gun light in its assortment. The gun light can remain on the gun when switching the nozzle and is also easily and quickly removable. The renewed gun light plugs into the gun without cable!

As from 2013 the gun lights for the MG1004(R) and G2001(R) are equipped with an additional removable transparent cover! This cover can easily be cleaned and replaced by the customer and one extra cover is delivered with each new light!

In 2007, CRYONOMIC^® launched as the first one in the world a one hose blaster with patented technology, called COB-series. The patented self-regulating airlock system results in no air waste, only one sealer disc needed, minimal wear and minimal pulsation for a constant and regular dry ice flow.

During the development of this CRYONOMIC^® One Hose Blaster we paid special attention to safety, operator ergonomics and ease of manipulation. The unit is very economical in use and produces excellent results even in the most challenging circumstances.

Thanks to the continuous R&D of CRYONOMIC^®, the COMBI dry ice blasting machines became in 2012 a very important part of the assortment. The COMBI machine is the only machine that can be delivered in 6 combinations:

 

• COMBI-71: dry ice blaster with one-hose system
• COMBI-71R: dry ice blaster with one-hose system with remote control
• COMBI-72: dry ice blaster with two-hose system
• COMBI-72R: dry ice blaster with two-hose system with remote control
• COMBI-73: dry ice blaster with one- or two-hose system 
• COMBI-73R: dry ice blaster with one-or two-hose system with remote control
